HAGERSTOWN, Md. — Allegiant has announced it will offer new, nonstop jet service between Hagerstown and Orlando, Fla., via Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB). The service will begin May 25. The company will introduce the new service with fares as low as $59.99 one way.

“We’re pleased to bring affordable and convenient travel options to Hagerstown,” Andrew C. Levy, Allegiant Travel Company president, said. “We are confident that the Hagerstown area residents will appreciate flying nonstop to Orlando, as well as the value of booking hotel rooms and car rentals through us.”

“Washington County has been committed to securing destination-oriented air service for use by area residents,” said Terry Baker, president of the Washington County Board of County Commissioners. “We are very excited to welcome Allegiant, offering nonstop service to Orlando, one of America’s top vacation destinations.”

“It is great news that Allegiant is providing families and businesses in the quad-state region with convenient, nearby, cost-effective, direct airline service from the Hagerstown Regional airport to Orlando/Sanford, Florida,” said Congressman Roscoe Bartlett. “I am hopeful that these flights will be popular enough for Allegiant to add more flights and destinations that will create more jobs at the airport as well as area businesses.”

The new flights will operate twice weekly between Hagerstown Regional Airport and Sanford International Airport.
