Walk-in care center in Greencastle reaches one year mark
Since opening Nov. 29, 2010, at 50 Eastern Ave. in Greencastle, the urgent care center at Antrim Family & Walk-in Care has treated about 7,200 patients.
The top reasons that people have visited the center include back and joint pain, cold symptoms, cuts, sore throats, strains and sprains, according to Gordon Braun, physician assistant at Antrim Family & Walk-in Care.
Braun said the center is seeing patients from the local area and beyond.
“Over the past year, we've treated many local patients as well as those visiting from other states and overseas,” Braun said.
Braun said that working at Antrim Family & Walk-in Care has been a great experience.
“This first year has been very rewarding and exciting,” Braun said. “Our patients are thankful that there is a local option for high quality medical care, quickly and conveniently.”
