The Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce is busily preparing for the 18th annual Heritage Christmas celebration.  The festivities will begin Nov. 13 and 14 with the Shoppes of Greencastle Holiday Open House, during which participating merchants in the borough of Greencastle and Antrim Township will offer incentives to shoppers such as longer hours, discounts, refreshments and gift wrapping.  On the evening of Friday, Nov. 20, thousands will gather on the square for the Tree Lighting, returning the next morning for VerStandig Broadcasting’s Christmas Parade.

The three Friday evenings of Dec. 4, 11 and 18 will see the square and beyond bustling with activity as folks visit downtown Greencastle to go shopping while enjoying the various forms of entertainment.

Vendors and entertainers are needed for those three Friday nights. Carolers and musicians, as well as folks with Christmas-related items to sell, as welcomed. Many non-profits, for example, do fund raising this time of year.

Anyone interested in anticipating in Heritage Christmas should contact the Chamber of Commerce at 717-597-4610 or info@greencastlepachamber.org.

In order to be included in the Heritage Christmas brochure, contact the chamber by Oct. 5.
