GREENCASTLE — The Greencastle-Antrim girls' basketball team defeated South Western 53-36 Thursday night in a non-league game.

Sayge Wilhide and Mia Libby both scored 18 points for G-A, which improved to 6-2 on the season.

Wilhide made six 3-pointers in the victory.

Tied at 12 after the first quarter, the Blue Devils pulled away for a 40-27 lead to start the fourth.

Lauren Pool, Olivia Winslow and Jenna Powell each had eight rebounds in the win.

Greencastle hosts Waynesboro in a Mid-Penn Colonial Division game Friday before playing at McConnellsburg on Saturday.
