Donald Pugh, 86, of State Line, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 20, 2023, in his home, surrounded by his family.

Born April 25, 1937, in Old Forge, PA, he was the son of the late William and Helen “Nellie” (Mattea) Pugh.

He graduated from Old Forge High School with the class of 1955.

He married to Gertrude (Korpusik) Pugh on November 26, 1959, in Duryea, PA. They were married over 51 years, when Gertrude passed away on March 31st, 2011.

He was employed as a machinist at Mack Truck, where he worked for 31 years, before he retired.

Donald Pugh enjoyed the outdoors whether it be fishing, hunting, camping, or feeding and watching the birds. Above all he loved spending time with his family. He instilled in his children the incredible sense of togetherness and compassion that will live on through their family.

He is survived by three children, Donna Grudzinski of State Line, PA, Donald Pugh, Jr. (Wife Angie) of Greencastle, PA, and Jessica Bishop (Husband Chris) of Hagerstown, MD along with five grandchildren; Chelsie Pugh, Randy Harne (Wife Paige), Ashley (Grudzinski) Cardoni (Husband Chris), Josh Grudzinski (Wife Katie) and the late Jimmy Grudzinksi (Wife Jan) and 3 Great-grandchildren; James Cardoni, Hannah Grudzinski, and Jessi Grudzinski.

He was preceded in death by siblings Helen Gallagher, William Pugh and Alma Lehman with surviving sister Kathleen Mariani, all of New Jersey.

Services will be private, at the convenience of the family.
