Helen J. (King) Fuss

Mrs. Helen J. (King) Fuss, 88, of Chambersburg and formerly of Sharpsburg, MD, passed away Saturday May 13, 2023 in Providence Place, Chambersburg.

Born September 22, 1934, in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late John R. and C. Grace (Shindledecker) King.

Helen was a graduate of Waynesboro High School with the class of 1953.

She had her husband, the late Robert E. Fuss, were married on July 11, 1958 in Hagerstown MD. They moved to their home in Sharpsburg in 1979. They were married for over 60 years when Robert passed away in 2015.

Mrs. Fuss was a homemaker. She enjoyed her animals and working on both she and her husband’s family genealogy.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews; and her special family friend, Debbie Morrow.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Robert B. King, and two sisters, Mariam C. King Noll and Thelma G. King Monn.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family with burial in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
