Kenneth Kepner Bercaw, 84, of Falling Waters, WV, went home to be with the Lord on March 4, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Charlotta Jean Bercaw.
Born on October 4, 1938 in Waynesboro, PA, he was the son of the late Rice Kenneth Bercaw and Verna (Kepner) Bercaw. Kenneth was a veteran of the United States Army. He attended Drexel University in Philadelphia. He worked his entire career with Landis Tool Company in Waynesboro.
Kenneth was a member of the AMVETS #38 in Falling Waters, WV, American Legion Post #15 in Waynesboro, PA and Post #0202 in Williamsport, MD. He was also a member of the Eagles Club Inc. in Waynesboro, PA, Frontier County Gun Club in Chambersburg, PA, Waynesboro Fish & Game Protective association. He enjoyed flying his Aeronca 1946 Champ airplane and watching local wildlife.
In addition to his wife, Charlotta "Jean", he is survived by his sisters, Jean Stambaugh and Janet Grissinger; his children, Walter Bercaw and Mary Millin and step-children Lloyd Beard and Jason Beard.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Shelby, Grace, Daniel, Kenny, Brandon, Cody, Shandy, Kayla, Molly, and Ian; and great-granddaughter, Ailah.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Bercaw.
The family will receive friends from 10-11am on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave. Hagerstown. The service will be held at 11am Reverend Jeff Zalatoris will officiate. Interment will follow in Strang Cemetery in Fayettesville, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Harmony United Methodist Church, PO Box 1510, Falling Waters, WV 25419.
