Geraldine Baranowske

Mrs. Geraldine Baranowske, 89, of South Mountain, PA, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023 in York Hospital.

She was born on October 6, 1933 in Teaneck, NJ.

Mrs. Baranowske was a homemaker and member of New Baltimore Church of God. She enjoyed being on her computer and woodworking crafts.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Mr. Carroll F. Baranowske, Jr., who she married April 27, 1977; three step-children, Carroll F. Baranowske, III (Elaine) of Tomkins Cove, NY, John Baranowske (Melaine) of Waynesboro and Steven Baranowske (Michelle) of South Mountain; six step-grandchildren, Amber Baranowske, Holly Snider, Cydney Baranowske, Frank Sacco, Tara Baranowske and Gina Baranowske; seven step-great-grandchildren; and one nephew.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Katherine Hoehl and Dot Dumbar.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 8, 2023 in New Baltimore Church of God, 4947 Spruce Road, South Mountain, with Pastor Lee Daywalt officiating. Burial will follow in Strang’s Cemetery, South Mountain.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, Wednesday morning, in the church.
