Eberlene P. Willard "Eby" or "Wild Woman," 69, of Sabillasville, MD, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at York Hospital, PA, after a lung illness. Born, Friday, October 30, 1953, in Waynesboro PA, she was the daughter of Eber Martin, and Patricia Gunthrey. Eberlene owned County Spirits Liquor Store from 1990 until 2003 with her husband Roger, where she made a lot of lifetime friends. She always had something going on and would care and give food to her customers. She worked with her husband in RJ Willard excavating for over 44 years, doing anything that needed done. Eberlene loved to make soups for her friends and family. She was known for her great soups. She loved her 6 dogs, horses, and cows. Eberlene enjoyed hunting deer, and bear, but most of all, she loved hunting mountain lions out west in Arizonia. She is survived by her loving husband, Roger Lee Willard, sister, Diane Smith and husband Denny, brother, Mike Martin and wife Patricia, whom she loved to do things for, and they loved her soups, and brother Jeff Martin and Glenda. She asked for no viewing or services. She said, "I don't want my friends to be unhappy, and the people I don't like to be happy." That's Eby! In her memory, you can donate in her name to St. Jude's. She wants her ashes scattered on the mountain she loved, over where her animals are buried. Arrangements were made by J.L. Davis Funeral Home, and online condolences can be offered at www.jldavbisfh.com
