Mr. James V. Fisher, 79, of Greencastle, PA, passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, May 8, 2022.

Born April 8, 1943, in Hendersonville, NC, he was the son of the late James W. and Leatrice M. (Merrill) Fisher.

Mr. Fisher was a graduate of Greencastle-Antrim Senior High School with the class of 1962.

He and his wife of over 47 years, Mrs. Connie (Myers) Fisher, were married September 27, 1974, in Williamsport, MD.

Jim was the owner of Jim’s Tavern, where he worked for over 30 years.

Mr. Fisher attended Ebenezer United Brethren Church, Greencastle; Harry D. Zeigler VFW Post 6319, The American Legion Post 373, and the Chambersburg Moose Lodge 842.

In addition to his wife, Connie, he is survived by his stepson Kirk Musselman and his wife, Sandy, of Greencastle, 6 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, May 12, 2022, in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg, PA, with Pastor David Grove officiating. The service will be open to the public.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ebeneezer United Brethren Church, 3661 Williamson Ave, Greencastle, PA 17225.
