Thomas Charles Hillman Jr. of Croydon passed away Sunday, April 14, 2019, at his residence. He was 85. Tom was born in Philadelphia and was a resident of Croydon for the last 43 years. Thomas was a U. S. Army veteran. He worked as a truck driver with Jones Motors for many years before retiring. He went back to work with Waste Management and retired in 1996 after several years of service. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, the late Joan Arlene (Wyatt). Tom will be sadly missed by his three loving children, Joan Schum (the late James), Thomas Hillman (Pamela) and Pearl Gomes (Victor); his siblings, Michael McGran (Amy), Bobby McGran, Susie Grady (Jimmy) and the late Alice Scheer; five grandchildren, James and Shannon Schum, Ashley Hillman and Julian and Gabriel Gomes; and three great grandchildren, Landen, Lucas and Kennedy. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, P.C., 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his service at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Northwood Cemetery.
