Edward Richard Hanley went home to the Lord Friday, April 12, 2019. He was 51. Born June 4, 1967, in Bristol, Ed was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Jane Ennis; his maternal grandparents, William Downing and Doris Trommer; and his paternal grandparents, Gertrude and Robert Hanley. He is survived by his father, Edward Hanley (Sue); his step-father, James Ennis; his daughters, Melissa Novak (David), and Jessica Wilcox; his sisters, Ginger Sonnier (Darren), and Erin Joy Markey (Patrick); his brothers, Michael Hanley, Matthew Hanley (Karlene), and Joshua Hanley; and several aunts and uncles, nephews, and nieces. Ed will be fondly remembered for his ability to tell a great story and his infectious laughter. He was one heck of a drum player, and loved to fish big game. Ed was always ready for the next adventure and had the biggest heart. Family and friends are invited to Ed's Life Celebration from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, and from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, at the Dunn Givnish Funeral Home, 378 S. Bellevue Ave., Langhorne, PA 19047, where services will follow at 11 a.m. Interment services will be held in Bristol Cemetery.
