Richard C. "Dick" Watson passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at 84 years young. Son of the late Irma and Joseph Watson, Dick grew up in the Olney section of Philadelphia. He graduated from Incarnation Elementary School, Northeast Catholic High School and LaSalle College. Employed as an executive of the Budd Company, he worked in various departments. Dick was a proud member of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, Score and sang with the Ohio Chordsman Barbershop Chorus, St. Bede Adult Choir and Guitar Group. He was a Neighborhood Watch person and a Minister of Hospitality at St. Vincent de Paul Church. Dick enjoyed golfing three days a week with his buddies and going on golf trips with couples in their groups, The Whammers and The Frogs. He was a dedicated and loving husband and father. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 62 years, Dolores; his loving children, Christa (Bob), Rick (Lovey) and Donna (Kevin); his treasured grandchildren, Melissa, Ricky, Patrick, Sam, and Mandi; his great granddaughter, Kinsley; his sisters, Sister Donna Watson, I.H.M. and Sister Anastasia Watson, I.H.M.; and his brother, Joseph Watson. His family will receive relatives and friends from 10 a.m. until the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 23, at Saint Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Rd., Richboro, PA 18954. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Saint Vincent de Paul Church at the above address would be appreciated by his family.
