Check out some of these residential and commercial properties that are on the market.

Sometimes, great places for sale are hidden away in obscure locations you might never ride through. In other cases, homes and buildings are hidden in plain sight, but you ride past them quickly and miss them because traffic is the only distraction you can master.

Here are a few of those listings:

3816 Stellar Drive, Millcreek

I've ridden over Stellar Drive countless times and written about a few homes in that general location. This western Millcreek area has some extraordinary architecture and there is nothing cookie-cutter about the homes. This particular home offers some contemporary design and large windows that look out on 1.38 acres of property. It includes 2,554 square feet of living space with four bedrooms, two full baths and one half bath. Built in 1965, it has fireplaces in the living room, family room and four-season sunroom. It is priced at $269,900, includes well water and public sewer. Taxes are $6,033. It has dropped in price from $315,000 in May. It is listed with Jake Scheloske of Agresti Real Estate.

Commercial spaces listed on Peach Street

So many of the homes that I knew because I knew the people who live in them decades ago are for sale, and you might miss them as you ride along this busy section of Peach Street. Here are just a few of the places that have been completely renovated and look great, based on photos on Realtor.com.

4114 Peach St., Erie

This building sits on a corner that borders Peach Street, Harding Road and Mead Street. Many residents might remember it as one of the locations for Paris Cleaners. Newly remodeled, it includes 1,242 square feet and was built in 1937. This commercial building has been completely remodeled. It is currently listed at $239,000 with Paula Kosko of RE/Max Real Estate Group. Taxes are $3,657.

4603 Peach St., Millcreek

Located on the corner of West Grandview and Peach streets this was once a home and has been completely remodeled. The property features a gas fireplace, kitchen and four bathrooms. The lower level offers a walkout and additional space. This listing includes 5,628 square feet. It is three parcels — .86 acre — and is listed at $399,900. It was at one time owned by Kress Financial Services, which moved to West Grandview. Taxes are $5,416. It is listed with Jake Scheloske of Agresti Real Estate.
