Mary Jane Hall Chewton Mary Jane Hall, 57, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at her home in Chewton following a short illness. Born August 12, 1961, in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late John H. Hall Jr. and Mary Elizabeth Goebel Hall with whom she resided. Mary Jane graduated from Walmo Intermediate School. She worked at Lark Workshop for many years and then attended the Lawrence County Adult Training Facility. She was a member of the Chewton Christian Church. Mary Jane was an avid Pirate and Steeler fan. In addition to her mother, Mary, survivors include a sister and her husband, Linda Sue (Ricky) Cox of Volant; brother and special sister-in-law, Dennis Eugene (Joann) Hall of Wampum; nieces, Amanda, Elizabeth, and Emma Ann Hall; nephew, Jakob John Hall; and her special aunt, Sally Goebel Fitzgerald. She was preceded in death by her father, John H. Hall Jr.; her brother, Kevin John Hall; maternal grandparents, Gus and Mabel Goebel; and paternal grandparents, John and Evelyn Hall Sr. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, June 13, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the MARSHALL FUNERAL HOME, Main Street, Wampum. Funeral services will be held at the Chewton Christian Church on Friday at 11 a.m. with her former pastor, the Rev. Gene Hydrick officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Wood Cemetery.
