Agnes M. Lapinsky Formerly of Princeton and Ellwood City Agnes M. Lapinsky, 101, formerly of Princeton (Slippery Rock Twp.) and Ellwood City, passed away peacefully on Monday afternoon, February 11, 2019, at Avalon Place in New Castle. Agnes was born in Ellwood City on January 7, 1918, to the late August and Helen Wagner Tetmeir. She was a member of Oak Grove Presbyterian Church. Agnes worked at Curtis Wright Co. in Vanport, and later at Shenango Pottery and Johnson Bronze in New Castle. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lapinsky, who died January 23, 2007; four brothers, Gus, Fritz, John and William "Willie" Tetmeir and a sister, Pauline Brdar. She is survived by two sisters, Helen "Sue" Tetmeir of Ellwood City, and Elizabeth Stasick of Tampa, Florida and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 12 p.m. until funeral service time at 1 p.m. on Friday, February 15, 2019, officiated by Rev. Marsha Parrish, in the TURNER FUNERAL HOME OF ELLWOOD CITY, Sixth Street at Park Avenue, Ellwood City. Burial will follow in Mount Hermon Cemetery.
