In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Sam "Shima" Zarnich; her sister, JoAnn Simonette; and two brothers, Donald Byers, and Wilmer "Lou" Byers. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and John Shomsky; two sons and daughters-in-law, Sam and Mari Zarnich and Bob and Elaine Zarnich; her granddaughters, Hannah and Genevieve Zarnich; a brother, Art Byers; along with many loving nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at TATALOVICH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 2205 McMinn St., Aliquippa, www.tatalovichfuneralhome.com. Family and friends will meet Friday at St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Church, 2200 Irwin St., Aliquippa, PA 15001, where a service will be held at 10 a.m. with Fr. Branislav Golic officiating. Interment will follow at St. Elijah Church Cemetery, Hopewell Twp. Her family is eternally grateful for the grace, love, and care provided by these angels on staff at Good Samaritan Hospice, and they are also grateful for the workers of Vitas Hospice for their compassionate and expedient care.
