Thomas A. Burick South Beaver Township Thomas A. Burick, 87, of South Beaver Twp., died September 11, 2019, in his daughter's home. Born January 12, 1932, in Midland, a son of the late Martin and Dorothy Kirinich Burick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jo Ann Cron Burick; his brothers, Stephen, Andrew, Joseph and Donald; sister, Dorothy Williams and by his son-in-law, John E. Smarsh. A graduate of Lincoln High School, he was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict and a member of the St Blaise Parish Family. He was retired from Crucible Steel Colt Industries, Midland and was the former owner of Tom's Auto Service in Shippingport. He is survived by his loving children, Robert and Tammy Burick, South Beaver Twp. and Barbara Smarsh, Brighton Twp.; grandchildren, Ryan, Laura, Jesse and Derek Smarsh and Vanessa Thomas; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Rose Marie Gill, Canton, Ohio and Dolores Bailey, East Liverpool and a sister-in-law, Aggie Burick, Lakeland, Fla. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Friday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the D. L. WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME, 848 Midland Ave., Midland. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, September 14, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Blaise Parish with Rev. Father Robert J. Miller as celebrant. Interment will follow in Beaver Cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. Ehren Berg, his nurse, Katrina and special family friend, Bill.
