Colman J. 'Buddy' Middleman Patterson Township Colman J. "Buddy" Middleman, 90, of Patterson Township, died Thursday, September 12, 2019, in Heritage Valley Beaver. Born August 23, 1929, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Mollie Gordon Middleman. He was a graduate of Beaver Falls High School, Class of 1946 and the University of Pittsburgh, Class of 1950, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He was a Korean War veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force. He had been a member of the former Agudath Achim Congregation of the United Jewish Community of Beaver Valley. He was a business owner for over 60 years of Enelow Shoes and also Wolfe's Shoes and Clothing in Beaver Falls. He also owned several Pappagallo Stores in major cities. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 52 1/2 years, Marcia A. Perlman Middleman on February 5, 2004. He is survived by his four children and their spouses, Robert and Sue Middleman, Chippewa Township; Paul Middleman, Bloomington, Ill.; and Betsy and Gary Peisach, and Dr. Leslie and Matthew Toll, all of Owings Mills, Md.; nine grandchildren and their spouses, Johnny Middleman (Cynthia), Jennifer Neely (Randy), Cara Maret (Nick), Stephanie Smith (Jacob), Emily Stern (Steven), Brian Peisach (Jennifer), Jacob Toll, and Merrick Toll; and five great-grandchildren, and soon to be six, Taylor, Nate, Jack, Brant, and Ryleigh. Friends will be received Sunday from 10 a.m. until the service at 1 p.m. in the HILL & KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, www.hillandkunselman.com, 3801 Fourth Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls, with Rabbi Howard Stein officiating. Interment will follow in Agudath Achim Cemetery, Patterson Township. The Veterans Honor Guard will meet at the funeral home on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. to conduct military honors.
