Edith “Jean” Kiser Wingert, 84, of North Las Vegas, Nev., died Monday, June 14, 2010 in Las Vegas.
Born in Greencastle, June 15, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Thelma (Grove) Kiser.
She was a 1943 graduate of Greencastle High School.
She married Glenn Wingert April 16, 1947. They moved to Ontario, Calif., in August 1954 and to Victorville, Calif. in 1994. He died Feb. 6, 1996. She moved to Las Vegas in 2010.
Mrs. Wingert was a homemaker. She was a long time member of United Methodist Church in Ontario.
Mrs. Wingert is survived by two daughters, Patty Caldwell of Yucca Valley, Calif. and Julie Fitzgerald of Las Vegas; two brothers, Donald L. Kiser of Greencastle and Lowell F. Kiser of Chambersburg; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Jeff in August 2009 and Steve in May 2010; and sister, Hilda L. Cordell in March 2006.
Graveside services at the convenience of the family will be held at Bellevue Memorial Park, Ontario, with Pastor Steve Caldwell officiating.
The family requests the omission of flowers.
