Leah Ebersole Bowlus, 77, of Boonsboro, Md. died Friday, May 21, 2010 at Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown, Md.
The daughter of David K. and Annalee Ebersole, she was born Dec. 21, 1932 in Pinola. She was a graduate of Greencastle High School and retired from Central Chemical Corp. in Hagerstown.
Mrs. Bowlus was a member of Mount Nebo United Methodist Church, Boonsboro.
She is survived by her daughter, Julie M. and husband Jerry L. Haines of Hedgesville, W. Va.; son, Robert E. Bowlus II, Boonsboro; sisters, Helen Starleper, Halfway, Md., Kathryn Fiery, State Line, and Evelyn Roelkey, St. James Village, Md.; brothers, Richard Ebersole, Lakeland. Fla., Charles Ebersole, Boonsboro, and Lawrence Ebersole, Greencastle; grandson, Ryan Haines, Martinsburg, W. Va.; granddaughter, Teri LaClair, Bunker Hill, W. Va.; great-grandsons, Dominico Wilt, Hagerstown, and Ashton Spencer Haines, Martinsburg.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Ebersole.
Services were held privately at the convenience of the family.
