State Rep. Rob Kauffman, a Republican who represents part of Franklin County, is hosting a sportsman forum on Thursday, Oct. 5, at 6:30 p.m. in the Fayetteville Fire Department Social Hall, 101 W. Main St.

“Plenty of seats are still available for this informative event,” said Kauffman. “There will be lots of great information shared and attendees will have an opportunity to have their questions answered by game commission staff. I encourage all sportsmen and sportswomen to consider attending.”

The forum will cover topics such as chronic wasting disease and its impact on the state’s deer herd and new laws pertaining to semi-automatic weapons and air rifles. Experts from the Pennsylvania Game Commission will conduct the presentation followed by a question-and-answer session.

Those wishing to attend are asked to RSVP by signing up at www.RepKauffman.com or by calling 717-532-1707.
