Antrim Township supervisors approved just under $32,000 in park and recreation grants Tuesday night.

Supervisors thanked the township park committee for its hard work in narrowing down a list of nearly $96,000 in requests to grants totaling $31,974.32.

In addition, the township allots $5,000 each to the Kauffman Ruritans, State Line Ruritans and Shady Grove Improvement Association for their facilities. Those organizations also received an additional $2,000 apiece through the grant program. Their plans:

Kauffman Ruritan Community Center — Replace doors

Shady Grove Improvement Association — Picnic table, trees, asphalt parking lot, plastic caps for ballfield, signs, highway delineator posts, playground balls, gravel for driveway

State Line Ruritan — A/C heat pumps

Other recipients in the annual grant program are:

Jerome R. King Playground Association — Replace fencing, basketball pole/hoop, reline basketball courts, $3,700

Greencastle-Antrim Baseball/Softball Association — Batting cage, bleachers, fence, $5,000

State Line Youth League — Metal covering to shed, $700

G-A Fastpitch (GALS) — Safety fence, $500

Greencastle AYSO — U10 goals, portable benches, $1,770

G-A Midget Football Association — Sanitary stations, $775

Greencastle Junior Wrestling — Wrestling mat, $4,900

Besore Library — Outdoor lighting, $2,000

Tayamentasachta — Handwashing station, two skylights, barn repair/masonry, $2,719.32

Greencastle United Soccer — Four goal nets, two sets of field flags, eight sandbag anchors, $910

Greencastle Area Youth Foundation — LED lighting, ceiling fans, $3,000s
