Waynesboro YMCA sets Fun Day Sunday

The Waynesboro YMCA will host its annual Fun Day from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5.

Events include indoor rock climbing, the Kidz Zone playground, pedaling in a Spinning class, swimming, working out on Strive Smart strength equipment, hair and face painting, outdoor inflatable games, racquetball instruction, and performances by the YMCA gymnastics teams and RAGE cheerleading teams.

Free food includes hot dogs, water, drinks and Antietam Dairy ice cream. Sponsors will give away door prizes.

The annual CROP Walk begins that day at 2 p.m. as well. The walk raises funds to eliminate world hunger.

Fun Day will be held rain or shine. The YMCA will begin Sunday openings for members starting Oct. 12.
