Master Gardeners offer water class

CHAMBERSBURG — The Franklin County Master Gardeners will offer a "Fall Gardening 101" class from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4 at Cooperative Extension's new Ag Heritage Building.

The theme is "Water Features for Your Garden." Participants will learn the basics of installing and establishing a water feature in their yard. Plants, fish and wildlife will be among the topics covered, in the class that will help gardeners create a backyard oasis in their yard.

"Gardening 101" workshops are designed to provide basic gardening information and hands-on experiences for new gardeners or a refresher course for seasoned gardeners.
