Blaze clinic

The Mason Dixon Blaze softball organization is conducting a fast-pitch softball clinic, teaching the fundamentals of hitting and throwing. The lead instructors include Bob Kline (14U Blaze Red coach) and Tom Petroff (Best of Softball co-director) along with other Blaze coaches in the organization. The clinic will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug. 5 and 6 (Rain Date-Aug. 8) from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Greencastle- Antrim Baseball-Softball Complex.

Baseball and softball clinics

HAGERSTOWN, MD. - Extra Innings Hagerstown still has spaces available in the upcoming two Summer Baseball Clinics and the one Summer Softball Clinic. The Baseball Clinics are scheduled for July 7-11 and July 21-25. The Summer Softball Clinic is scheduled for July 14-18. All clinics run Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Firecracker 5-K

WAYNESBORO - The annual Waynesboro Summer Jubilee Firecracker 5-K Run and childrens 1-mile Fun Run will be held at 8:30 a.m. Friday, July 4. Walk-up registration will be available from 6 to 7:30 p.m. July 3 starting at 7 a.m.Friday at the corner of East Main St. and Virginia Ave.

Football camp

The South-Central Football Camp will be held July 7 to 10 and July 12 at the Greencastle-Antrim school complex for players entering fourth-grade through ninthgrade. Skill levels will include beginnings, intermediate and experienced.

The camp fee is $50 that includes a T-shirt and water bottle.

This is a non-profit camp with all proceeds benefitting Greencastle Antrim scholastic football, the Greencastle Midget Football Association, the Keystone Youth Football league and the Shepherd University Ram Gridiron Club.
