Grant will help with prescription drugs Waynesboro Area Human Services Council received a $7,000 grant from Summit Endowment to help residents within the area obtain prescription drugs that they otherwise would not be able to afford. There are certain guidelines that need to be met to be eligible for financial assistance with prescription drugs. Those in need of financial assistance to obtain prescription drugs on a one time basis should contact the center at 717-762- 6941 to check on eligibility for this service. Waynesboro Area Human Services Council is a non-profit organization and financially assists residents of the Waynesboro Area and Greencastle-Antrim School Districts within the 125 percent poverty level. There is also a food pantry, free clothing bank, a bread pantry and diaper bank. The center depends upon contributions from the community, grants, and are supported by United Way of Franklin County. |
