Thanks from our hearts to yours

The students of Greencastle- Antrim Primary and Elementary schools extend a big heartfelt thank-you to the community for your support during our recent Jump Rope for Heart and Hoops for Heart events.

The American Heart Association received $22,000 because you have a heart that cares for others.

This event is an opportunity for our children to be lifelong learners. During the year we prepare for Jump Rope day. We focus on the function of our hearts, taking care of our hearts, understanding that others may have weaker hearts than ours, learning to help others and improving our jumping skills.

As educators, it is exciting to observe how learning to jump rope improves other motor skills. Rope jumping is a difficult task to learn for kindergarten. Through hard work and never giving up, 100% can now jump and they love it with all their hearts.

We jump 'til we drop.' Fun, fun, fun.

From our hearts to yours, jump, jump, jump. Thank you once again.
