Arrests made in string of local burglaries

Pennsylvania State Police have filed charges through Duane Cunningham's Magisterial District Justice office on three area men for a series of burglaries from January to March. Two are from Greencastle.

Tylor Bradley Rosenberry, 19, Chambersburg, James Robert Williams Jr., 18, 43 W. Madison St., and Seth Thomas Pfannebecker, 18, 3724 Hazel Drive, face multiple charges including burglary, criminal conspiracy to commit burglary, theft, criminal conspiracy to commit theft, criminal mischief and receiving stolen property.

All three have been charged in the Jan. 23 theft of a stereo from a construction site at Shank's Church Road and Williamsport Pike. A construction trailer belonging to Columbia Builders was entered after a window was broken with a rock.

They allegedly forcibly entered One Shot Paintball, 345 Social Island Road the night of Jan. 25 and stole 19 items, including a DVD player, DVDs, cash and paintball supplies.

Rosenberry and Williams have also faced Cunningham on the remaining cases. Two incidents added the charge of theft from a motor vehicle.

Blazin'Auto, 855 Buchanan Trail W. was broken into at 1:40 a.m. Feb. 8. A cash box containing $4000 was taken.

That same evening a window at Mayhem Auto Brokers, 6120 Molly Pitcher Highway was smashed with a concrete block. The two allegedly pried open a file cabinet and stole $550, damaged office equipment and took other items.

On the same night Ron's Auto Sales in Marion was entered through a window. The power to the surveillance system was cut and a laptop computer stolen.

According to police, on March 1 Rosenberry and Williams damaged the roof of Shuman's Gun Shop in Newville in an attempt to enter the building. They also forcibly entered Blume's Gun Shop in Cumberland County. When the motion alarm activated they left the business, but stole a GPS unit and a flashlight from a vehicle.

Finally, the two are charged with thefts from motor vehicles between Jan. 22 and Feb. 24. Two incidents occurred on Leitersburg Road, two on Sherwood Drive and one on Washington Court. Electronic equipment and a purse were taken.
