Director named CHAMBERSBURG - The Pennsylvania Association of Personal Care Administrators named new members to its Board of Directors at its recent conference. Magnolias of Chambersburg Administrator Mark Miller was among those asked to serve until 2010. "Our mission is to provide education and support to Administrators in complying with the regulations as set forth by the Department of Public Welfare; providing safe housing and quality services to consumers, that keeps in mind their social, physical, psychological, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual well being," said APCA Executive Assistant, JoAimee Gallo. "With our board's vision and through the advancement of strong leadership and development of strategic partnerships and alliances, our organization aims to advance the knowledge and education of personal care homes throughout Pennsylvania," says Mark Miller, Executive Director of Magnolias of Chambersburg and newly appointed APCA Board Member. "At Magnolias of Chambersburg it is very important that we address the needs of seniors. A personal care home provides a lifestyle change in a positive way. It provides the opportunity for an individual to have the care and support that is needed without an institutional setting. And I look forward to my upcoming term."
