Chamber to host free seminar on economy

The Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce (217 East Baltimore Street, Greencastle) will host a free seminar on the state of the economy from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 15 at the chamber, 217 E. Baltimore St.

Dr. Robert Sweet, Economist and Managing Director, MTB Investment Advisors Inc (the investment advisory subsidiary of M&T Bank), will offer seasoned economic and capital markets insight and analysis honed over an extensive career. Dr. Sweet will provide an historical perspective on market conditions in election years and commentary on the economy, the stock market, and current investment opportunities.

The event is being sponsored by M&T Bank and is open to the public.

There is no fee for attending, but RSVPs are requested and should be made by April 10.
