Calf sale benefits 4-H

CHAMBERSBURG - The annual Franklin County Dairy Calf Sale will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 19 at the C.V. Antique Engine Show Grounds.

The sale, which is open to the public, will feature approximately 25 calves and several embryo selections.

Franklin County 4-H Dairy Council sponsors the sale with the commission fees going to support 4-H Dairy Club educational activities in the county. This year's sale chairman is David Koons of Waynesboro.

Sale catelogs will be available at the Penn State Cooperative Extension Office in Franklin County (717) 263-9226.
