Merger announced

Finucane Law Office LLP and Salzmann Hughes, P.C. merged April 2, 2008, the firms have announced. The combined firms will operate under the name Salzmann Hughes, P.C., at their new office located in City Center, 79 St. Paul Drive, Chambersburg. The merger "will maximize the strength and talents of two well-established area law firms," said Bryan Salzmann, President of Salzmann Hughes, P.C. Tom Finucane and Eileen Finucane bring over 65 years of legal expertise in business, real estate, municipal law, litigation, and estate planning and administration. Finucane Law Office was formerly known as Wingerd and Long, established in 1939. "We are excited by the opportunity to enhance our client service by joining the highly respected law firm of Salzmann Hughes," said Tom Finucane, principal in the new firm.

Salzmann Hughes, P.C. is a regional law firm, with 18 attorneys, and offices in Chambersburg, Carlisle and Harrisburg. Bryan Salzmann initially started a private law practice in 1995, after four years working for Harrisburg firms. The Salzmann firm quickly grew to a regional law firm, concentrating in the areas of zoning, land use, and environmental issues, commercial and residential real estate, municipal representation, business and corporate matters, estate planning and administration, and general litigation.
