Calvary Bible Church, 3845 Buchanan Trail West, will celebrate its 25th anniversary April 13- 16. Special speaker for the event will be Don Hubbard, former pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, New York City.
The public is cordially invited to attend all the meetings: Sunday, April 13 at 9 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday through Wednesday.
Calvary Bible Church was founded April 10, 1983 and Glen Miller, S.T.D., has been the pastor for the church's 25 years. The congregation first met at Foremost Industries, then at facilities at Gibble's and Graphics Universal. Worship for the first time at the present location was on June 30, 1985.
On March 21, 1999 the congregation participated in a building addition and dedication service. A note-burning ceremony in January 2008 was held to praise God for his blessings on the church and its new addition.
Pastor Miller says his prayer for the church is that God would revive His people, giving all of His people a deeper love for Him and His Word.
