Sigmund Freud, the founder of psychiatry wrote, "There is the painful riddle of death, for which no remedy at all has yet been found."

But Christians have found victory over death, because of the victory of Jesus in His resurrection. He said, "Because I live you shall also live."

Because He is our living Lord He's with us in our bereavement to give us blessings, in our perplexity to give us peace, in our sickness to give us solace, in our temptation to give us triumph.

Life without the Lord is a hopeless end, but with Him an endless hope.
