Seeds from the Sower

A friend asked, "Does the Lord have a sense of humor?"

"He must have." I replied, "he made me."

"But," he wondered, "did He ever laugh?"

"I think so," I answered, "for the Bible says, "There is a time to laugh.'"

A missionary in China was ordered beheaded. When she came to a hill, she started to laugh. "Why?" demanded her captors.

"I was just thinking," she explained, "how funny it will be to see my head roll down the hill. For as my head rolls down the hill, I'll be on my way to heaven."

"If it's going to make her happy," said the bandits, "release her."

The Lord gives His children hope and happiness. Yes, there's a time to laugh.
