Police Reports Greencastle Borough Police recently released the following incident reports (Information on any of the cases should be called to police at 597-9506.): Police are investigating several thefts of Oil of Olay products from CVS Pharmacy, 305 W. Baltimore St., and Rite Aid, 200 N. Antrim Way, over a five-day span. From March 6 to 10, several thefts occurred at Rite Aid between 3 and 5 p.m. Witnesses reported that several white males and females came into the store and stole Oil of Olay items, Crest Whitening Strips, and sinus and stomach medications. They allegedly would run from the store to a waiting vehicle in the parking lot. On March 7 a white male entered CVS at approximately 6:47 p.m. and took $340 worth of Oil of Olay skin care products. He was wearing a brown ball cap, black coat and blue jeans. He left in a white two-door car, heading west on Route 16. Between 6 and 6:30 p.m. March 9 a white female entered CVS and took an undisclosed amount of Oil of Olay. She was wearing a tan shirt and blue jeans. Anyone with information should call police. Police arrested Tammy Jo Fitzgerald, 45, Greencastle, for driving under the influence March14. She was pulled over at North Antrim Way and Williamson Avenue at 10:58 p.m. She was transported to Waynesboro Hospital where her blood alcohol content was .15 percent. Rennes Atlee Meyers, 24, Chambersburg, was arrested for driving under the influence at South Carlisle Street and Leitersburg Street Extended. No time or date was given. Testing at Waynesboro Hospital showed his blood alcohol content at .11 percent. Pennsylvania State Police in Chambersburg recently issued the following news releases (Information on any of the cases should be called to police at 264- 5161.): Two vehicles were involved in an accident on the southbound off ramp at Exit 5 of Interstate 81 March 10. At 12:51 p.m. Kiki D. Painter, 25, Waynesboro, driving a 1985 Volkswagen Jetta, rearended a 2006 Toyota Corolla driven by Laura A. Burns, 50, Fort Loudon, which was stopped for traffic. Both vehicles sustained minor damage and no injuries were reported for either driver or Painter's passenger, Vonda K. Mohn, 44, Waynesboro. Four juveniles were charged with disorderly conduct for throwing rocks at vehicles on Interstate 81 at John Wayne Drive. They were discovered at 6:43 p.m. March 10. They included three males from State Line, ages 15, 14 and 12, and a 13-year-old male from Greencastle. A15-year-old female runaway from Greencastle was found at 348 S. Potomac St., Waynesboro, on March 9. Joshua D. Trite, 19, was arrested for attempting to conceal the whereabouts of a child as well as on a warrant for controlled substance offenses. The child was turned over to the Children of Youth Services. PSP was assisted by the Waynesboro Police Department in the investigation. Joshua Biser, 20, Greencastle was arrested for possession of marijuana and resisting arrest. During a traffic stop in the 2300 block of Molly Pitcher Highway at 11:32 p.m. March 1 the officer found marijuana on Biser, who then attempted to run away. Someone stole an MP3 player and $23 from a vehicle belonging Benjamin Levi Heebner, 17, Mercersburg. The vehicle was parked at 12251 Malissa Drive at 2:50 p.m. March 16. Someone damaged a mailbox belonging to Susan Marie Greasley, 10028 Letzburg Road at 4:30 a.m. March 15. |
