The stage is alive with the sound of music for four performances this week. The Drama Club presents 'The Sound of Music' at Greencastle Antrim High School March 13-16 in the auditorium.
Show times are 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 16.
Tickets are available at the door. They are
8 for adults and $6 for students and seniors.
The Rodgers and Hammerstein musical is directed by Martha Fuchs and Jennifer Gabler.
Cast members include: Diana Stottlemyer as Maria Rainer, Brittany Lackey as The Mother Abbess, Malorie Olivier as Sister Berthe, Paige Dixon as Sister Margaretta and Noel Fridgen as Sister Sophia.
The von Trapp family is portrayed by Alex Ramsey as Captain Georg, Sarah Louzon as Liesl, Ridge Bingaman as Friedrich, Sallianne Crawford as Louisa, Kolby Martin as Kurt, Brinna Hoover as Brigitta, Amy Crider as Marta, Sarah Mack as Gretl on Thursday and Sunday, Shyanne Smith as Gretl on Friday and Saturday.
