Earned income tax forms sent out

The Greencastle-Antrim Tax Bureau distributed 2007 Earned Income Tax forms the middle of January.

This year the forms are again printed for joint filing. Husband and wife will file on one form. If two forms were mailed, please complete and return both forms and mark joint filing. Please correct any information that is incorrect on the printed form before returning to the tax office.

All residents of Antrim Township and Greencastle borough who have earned income or net profits for 2007 are required to file an earned income tax form with this office by Tuesday, April 15, 2008.

Individuals who receive a form from this office and have no earned income and/or net profits to declare must file their return by the April 15, 2008 deadline. Please state on the form "No Income to Declare."

Regular office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Extended hours are: Friday, April 11, 2008 from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Tuesday, April 15, 2008 from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Individuals who did not receive a form or need additional forms may call the tax office at 597-2188. The tax office is located in the Reed Machinery Building, 151 North Washington Street, Greencastle, Pa.
