Court Reports The following cases were recently docketed before Magisterial District Judge Duane Cunningham: Darren David Brickford, 23, 5996 Flower Drive, was arrested on multiple charges following a single-vehicle crash Feb. 2 at 12251 Ridge Road. Witnesses told Pennsylvania State Police that at 6 a.m. a vehicle left the road, struck a tree and overturned. Two people fled the scene. Upon investigation, Bricker was determined to be the driver and was located at his residence. He began fighting during his arrest, requiring two officers to carry him to the patrol car. They had to restrain his legs to prevent him from kicking the window. Bricker refused chemical testing at Chambersburg Hospital. He was taken to Franklin County Jail and released to the detainer from Adult Probation. Bricker was charged with aggravated assault, agricultural vandalism, recklessly endangering another person, accidents involving damage to unattended vehicle or property, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness, scattering rubbish, abandonment of vehicles, careless driving, reckless driving, false reports, driving while operating privilege is suspended for driving under the influence, driving on roadways laned for traffic, duty to give information and render aid and immediate notice of accident to police. Walter Jefferson Osenbaugh, 32, 11835 Williamsport Pike, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia on Jan. 4. Pennsylvania State Police responded to a call to Room 134 at Rodeway Inn, 10835 John Wayne Drive. Emergency responders from Greencastle Rescue Hose Company were treating the unconscious Osenbaugh for a heroin overdose. He was taken to Waynesboro Hospital. |
