Say 'Cheese'

On Jan. 5 members of Greencastle's Boy Scout Troop 99 participated in the troop's annual community service project of collecting used Christmas trees within the Borough of Greencastle. The troop provided the manpower and vehicles for curbside pick-up. The local office of Bartlett Tree Experts donated a three-man crew and the needed equipment to grind the trees into wood chips. The chips are used by the environmental center director, Charles White, to line the walkways through the center. Troop 99 is celebrating its 49th year in Greencastle and has been collecting Christmas trees each year following the holidays for nearly two decades.
Jarrett Dice got to shake hands with G-AHS senior Dameatric Scott following the final home game of the season.
