Chamber sets breakfast

The Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce will host a breakfast Tuesday, Feb. 26 at the Antrim House Restaurant. The event will be sponsored by Merrill Lynch, which will be represented by Jay Brechbiel.

The guest speakers will be Alex Bacay and Laura Miller, both of Leadership Franklin County. They will be providing a general overview of Leadership Franklin County, with a particular emphasis on a local project being conducted by Leadership Franklin County students: the Greencastle-Antrim Back to School 2008 Project.

"This is an opportunity for people to learn more about Leadership Franklin County, which is a great program, and the Back to School Project, which will benefit less fortunate students in our school district," said Bill Gour, the chamber's executive director.

The breakfast, which will include a buffet and door prizes, will begin at 7:30. The cost is $12 for chamber members and $15 for nonmembers.
