GREENCASTLE - The First National Bank of Greencastle is moving forward with plans for a bank call center with the promotion of Cynthia E. Marconi to Call Center/Training Manager.
With more than 10 years of call center banking experience, Marconi will be responsible for the development and oversight of a bank call center and the management of the bank's employee training.
Marconi is a North Hagerstown High School graduate and attended Penn State University. She is active in the community, serving with the Rotary Club of Greencastle and the Heritage Christmas Committee, and as a parent classroom volunteer at Greencastle Elementary School and as a deacon and board member of The First Christian Church Disciples of Christ, Hagerstown. She also is a member of the Antietam Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Married to Keith Marconi, she lives in Greencastle with her husband, daughter Racheal and son Ryan.

LEMOYNE - Larry Eberly, owner of Larry Eberly Builders in Greencastle, has been elected southcentral regional vice president for the 10,000-member Pennsylvania Builders Association. Larry Eberly Builder is a homebuilding business.

PBA is the voice of the homebuilding industry in Pennsylvania.
Eberly will serve on the 250-member board of directors, and he will be responsible for overseeing the association's activities to ensure that it is properly representing and addressing the needs of the building industry.
He will represent the southcentral region of Pennsylvania, which includes Franklin, Fulton, Fayette, Lancaster and York counties. Eberly served as southcentral regional legislative officer in 2007.
As a member of the Franklin County Builders Association, Eberly has served his local association as president, vice president, secretary, treasurer and board member. He led the local association's membership committee as chairman and show committee as co-chairman. He was honored as a Builder Member of the Year in 2002 and Grand Spike winner in 1999.

Kay A. Salmon, CMA passed the CMA (AAMA) Certication/ Recertification Examination, for medical assistant Oct. 26, 2007, thereby earning the prestigious Certified Medical Assistant credential.

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - Karen Horejs has completed a highly specialized course in customer service referral-based business conducted by the Council of Residential Specialists of the National Association of Realtors.
The course covered the imp lementa- tion of specific ideas to add value to and ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service both during and after the buying and/or selling of a home.
During the two-day course, students were subject to handson development of plans and programs designed to ensure the professionalism of the residential sales associates.
"There are many new unique and compelling strategies for enhancing the customers experience," said Horejs, "and I have already begun to apply the strategies covered during this course in my work at Long & Foster.
The Council of Residential Specialists courses are presented throughout the United States in affiliation with the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS, as part of its on-going program of promoting the professionalism of the residential sales associate.
Horejs, a Long & Foster Realtor licensed in both Maryland and Pennsylvania is among only 10 percent of Realtors in the United States who hold the coveted CRS designation. Horejs has offices in both Pennsylvania and Maryland.
