Thanks for the everlasting memory On November 14, 2007, 80 students from the Greencastle- Antrim senior class boarded two coach buses with the anticipation that in 16 hours, they would be in the land where dreams come true: Disney World! It started in January 2007, when the class officers decided it was time for a change. After four years of failed attempts for class trips, this year would be different. Ten months, three carwashes, two fundraisers, and one school board meeting later, the trip was a go! The students had a wonderful time in Magic Kingdom, MGM Studios, Epcot and Animal Kingdom, where memories were made that will last a lifetime. Some of the magical moments included the Fantasmic Light Show, Mickey's Backyard BBQ and Expedition Everest. This trip would not have been possible without the support and approval of the school board and our principal, Mr. Edward Rife. We give a special thanks to our class advisors, Mr. Brandon Solomon and Mrs. Jen Everetts. Lastly, we thank the following businesses for their monetary support: Kuddle Kennels, Brothers' Pizza, J&B Custom Built Homes and an anonymous donor for funding one senior's trip.
Thanks again for helping us create an everlasting high school memory. |
