 | | Third-graders at Greencastle-Antrim Elementary School were treated to an early Christmas present Friday morning, Nov. 16. Members of the Greencastle Rotary Club presented each student their very own Webster's Dictionary. Students were advised by Rotary President Julie Statler to put their name on the front page to show everyone it was their own dictionary. Name plates were placed in each dictionary by high school student Rachel Statler. Member Ed Wine coordinated the project. The dictionary project began in Greencastle last year as part of a District 7350 effort. The project encourages each Rotary Club to annually see that each third-grader within the district's 45 clubs has their own dictionary. |
