Gene Paul Jewell

Gene Paul Jewell, 76, of 209 Williamson Ave. Greencastle, died early Monday morning, Nov. 12, 2007 in his home.

Born Dec. 19, 1931 in Cumberland, Md. he was the son of the late Lester and Alice (Hendrickson) Jewell.

He retired from Fairchild Aircraft Co.

Mr. Jewell attended the Paramount Baptist Church of Hagerstown, Md.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Janice M. Nolan, a resident of the Quincy Home; two sons, Steven Jewell and Dean Jewell, both of England; sister, Connie Weaver of Cumberland, Md.; brother, Glenn Jewell of Jacksonville, Fla.; stepbrother, Wayne Jewell of Carlisle; sister-in-law, Charlotte Jewell of Cumberland; a number of grandchildren and greatgrandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald D. Jewell.

It was his request that there would be no funeral services.
