Fugitive sought
      Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest for a robbery, burglary and aggravated assault Sept. 26 in Huntingdon County. Pennsylvania State Police, Troop G, Huntingdon continue their search for Gregory Alvin Everetts.

Township changes meeting times in 2008
      The Antrim Township Board of Supervisors decided to alternate meeting times in 2008, a throwback to years past. On a suggestion by township manager Ben Thomas Jr., the board agreed last week to schedule half the regular meetings at 4:30 p.m. and half at the current 7 p.m.

      A male student brought a portion of a paintball gun to school Oct. 29 and openly displayed it to his fellow paintball enthusiasts in a classroom. Though it was only the handle end and could not be fired, it violated the Greencastle Antrim School District policy prohibiting weapons on campus.

Myers earns write-in seat; voters don't flock to polls
      A last minute write-in campaign by Craig Myers nabbed him a two-year term on Greencastle Borough Council in the Nov. 6 general election. No one had previously filed for the position. He received 159 tallies. He also received 104 write-in votes for a four-year term.
