Home decorating and lighting contest set

Judging for the Heritage Christmas Home Decorating and Lighting Contest will be held on the evening of Saturday, Dec. 8.

There are three categories: Traditional (incorporating the use of white lights and natural elements); Contemporary (incorporating the use of multicolored lights and a variety of seasonal decorations) and Children's World (incorporating the use of decorations that specifically appeal to children, including animated, inflated and children's themed decorations).

There will be two prizes awarded in each category and the judges will include members of the Heritage Christmas Committee. Children will judge the entries in the Children's World category.

There is no cost to participate, but an entry form must be filled out. One's own home or someone else's can be nominated. Entry forms are available at the Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce and at all Greencastle-Antrim financial institution. Forms must be submitted to the Chamber (217 East Baltimore St.) by Wednesday, Dec. 5.
