David H. College of Lufkin, Texas is looking for the parents of A. K. Hammill, born Sept. 21, 1840 and died March 27, 1888. He married Susannah Brendle and had at least four sons; Paul (my grandfather); Ambrose; Carl; and Ralph.

A.K. Hammill served with the 126th Pa Volunteers, Co K, and saw action at Fredericksburg and Chancellorsvile in 1862 and 1863.
