Cora E. Shinham Angle

Cora E. Shinham Angle, 98, of Marion, died at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007 in her home, following a brief illness.

Born Feb. 9, 1909 in Antrim Township, she was a daughter of the late John M. and Cora E. Winger Shinham.

She married Alvey D. Angle Nov. 24, 1931. He died July 24, 1984.

She was a housewife and homemaker.

Mrs. Angle was a member of Solomon's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Grindstone Hill for over 75 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Arlene (and husband Richard G.) Brill of Chambersburg; and a grandson, Alan (and wife, Cheryl) Brill, of Lititz.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, David, George, Elmer, and Frank Shinham; and two sisters, Mary Brant and Nelling Angle.

Services were held the morning of Friday, Nov. 9, 2007 in the chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg, with Rev. Michael E. Allwein officiating.

Burial followed in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
